Phil continues our series about Holy Spirit by starting to talk about the gifts from Holy Spirit. In this podcast he looks at the gifts of faith and miracles and shares stories of how these have impacted his and Lisas life as they learnt to trust God for His provision. 

Jonathan Abbey, Senior Pastor from York Vineyard spoke to us on the Holy Spirit; Holy Spirit's importance in the Church and what it is like to be a Spirit filled Church. 

Jonathan, along with his wife Nicki, are Church Planting Co-ordinators for the NE Vineyard Church.

Phil shares about church finances over the last few months since the church started Sunday services and our beliefs as a church on tithing and offerings. 

On our first Sunday back after Christmas, Lisa shares about how God has spoken to her about resetting our rhythms of rest this year, starting with a month of rest for the church.

Phil and Lisa chatted with Jonnie and Emily back in Dec 18, as Phil and Lisa prepared to leave Myanmar to plant Darlington Vineyard Church, with Jonnie and Emily to follow in Aug 19 to serve the church full time. 

They chat about the sacrifices that Jonnie and Emily are making giving up full time International School teaching careers to serve the Lord and the emotions this is taking them through as well as loads of other things!

In this episode, Lisa and Phil interview Phil Conn, Director of Programmes who overseeing Oasis Community Housing's Crisis Services, Empower and Aspire programmes. He has been with Oasis Community Housing for eight years and from heading up their Crisis Services for several years, has now progressed to lead their work in domestic abuse support, helping those furthest from the job market and financial capability – as well as continuing to lead the way with their front line crisis work.

Lisa and Phil discuss with him the role of the church in homelessness and with people stuck in addiction; where does the Church get it wrong and where are we best placed to help.

Lisa and Phil chat with Jon Hiebert who works as the Investment Manager for Debt and Finance with Proximity Design in Yangon, Myanmar, about how his journey of faith and the role it plays in the workplace. 

Lisa and Phil chat with Rachel Yu in Myanmar who works as the Programme Quality and Development Director for Vision Fund International, part of World Vision, about how her faith plays such a vital role in her job as she navigates being a Christian in a predominantly Buddhist and developing country.
